On Tuesday March 20, 2012, in his 76th year, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. Predeceased by his parents Edna and Cecil Burgar of Toronto. Loving and supportive husband of 53 years to Barbara (Fry), beloved brother of Robert Burgar of Aurora. Wonderful father to Eric Burgar (Maddalena) of Stittsville and Heidi Stone (Peter) of Barrie. Cherished grandfather of Ethan, Emily, Erica and Liam. The family will receive friends at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, 905-727-5421 on Saturday March 24 from 10am-11am with a service to celebrate his life to follow.
