DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE
Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glint on snow. I am the gentle showers of rain, I am the fields of ripening grain. I am in the morning hush, I am in the graceful rush Of beautiful birds in circling flight. I am the starshine of the night. I am in the flowers that bloom, I am in a quiet room. I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there. I did not die.

Elena was a kind and old soul. Always extremely positive, she would make you feel better with her smile.
May she rest in peace!

In the spirit of the words written under Elena’s picture , she is still with the people she touched. That is an eternal connection that’s is embedded in our psyche and our memories of her. I remember her as a sweet kind person , engaged and vital. She seemed connected to people of all ages, an ever present smile and positivity. We can all learn valuable lessons of courage and determination from her. Despite life’s hardships she remained defiant in her will to live life fully. For this alone we owe her a debt of gratitude. May she Rest In Peace.
