It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Flavio Roger Bergamin on January 27th, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. Surrounded by love, he faced his journey with strength, grace, and unwavering character.
Flavio was born on March 9, 1955, in Montreal, Quebec. He met his wife of 48 years, Margaret (Tarabula) while attending Concordia University, and together they moved to Toronto, Ontario, before building a life with family and friends in Aurora.
Flavio was selfless and generous with his time and care for others. He had a natural gift for lifting those around him, always with a big smile, contagious laughter, and a genuine love for fun and life. Throughout his business career, he was highly respected for his strong work ethic, integrity, and leadership. Flavio showed everyone the importance of being genuine, living with character and commitment, and being someone others could always respect and rely on.
A devoted Habs and Toronto Blue Jays fan, Flavio followed the teams with true passion and loyalty. Winters were joyfully spent in Naples, Florida, where he treasured close friendships, beautiful sunsets, and warm days on the lanai with his favourite companion, Mya.
Flavio will be remembered for a life lived with purpose, generosity, and heart. His legacy continues through the values he instilled and the love he shared with family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
He is lovingly remembered by wife, Margaret; son, Robert (Rhiannon) daughter, Erica (Mikhael) mother, Giovanna; brothers, Frank (Olivia) and Lucio(Shelley) and brother-in-law, Robert (Audrey)
