Frank grew up in Guelph Ontario, then a very small town, as the only boy in a family of 3 girls, a mother and grandmother. As soon as possible, he acquired his driver’s license, and his need for speed continued for the rest of his life. After (finally) graduating from high school, he joined the Toronto Dominion Bank at his father’s urging, despite the fact that it paid considerably less than his summer factory jobs. And so began a career that lasted 35 years or until 1998. It was during his tenure at the bank that he met his wife Judy and made friendships lasting 50 years.
There, and in his subsequent financial consulting business, Frank succeeded through sheer hard work and persistence. Even with recent medical limitations, Frank persevered, dealing with it his way, and how he naturally was. He will be missed by so many.
Survived by his wife of 32 years, Judy Ryan, sisters Frances Kloepfer, Heather Charles and predeceased by his sister Catherine Kloepfer. Loss is profoundly felt by sister-in-law and brother-in- law Donna and Michael McLean. He will be deeply missed by nieces and nephews, Matthew (Christine), Andrew (Ashly), John, Amber and Michael, and great nephew and niece Liam and Briana.
A visitation for Frank will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G6W8, followed by a Memorial Service in the Tribute Hall at 12 noon
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Frank's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
