I am so sorry to hear of George's passing. 
I had the pleasure of working with him at J.R.P.S. 
He cared deeply for the students and the staff.

I  was so very sorry to hear of your loss(es) of George and Carol, which I just heard of.  My son, Kevin, had Muscular Dystrophy and was in a wheelchair when he attended Regency Acres P.S.  while George was there.  I always found him to be supportive of Kevin and joked with him often.  He told me that he appreciated his sense of humor.  After Kevin died, he was very supportive of me and my family and always had a kind word to pass on to me.
As for  Carol - I worked with her at Devins Drive P.S. many years ago and always found her to be cheerful and fun to be around.

My sympathies to your family on the passing of George.

I got to know George as we worked together on the Interfaith Refugee Resettlers (IRR).  George was kind and caring. George frequently visited me at my store to purchase his favourite pair of running shoes. We would sit and chat for long periods of time we’re George would speak very fondly of his loving family. 

George will be missed. 

George was a great neighbour. Always willing to take time to talk with anyone who may have needed comforting. When my wife was nearing the end of life George sat with me and we talked for a lengthy period. He offered advice that he had experienced when he lost his wife. I truly appreciated his sincere and helpful conversation.

George was so very special to us as individuals and to the fibre  of our family. Mark and Geoff were good friends with our gang growing up, and he was such a close and special friend to Paul for decades and the best man at our wedding. So many, many wonderful memories. We were blessed to have been able to visit with him the day before his passing. George was a kind, gentle, loving and caring friend who will live in our hearts and memories forever.
Our deepest condolences to “the boys”, their families and of course to Cyndy. 

Marie and I can only imagine what you and your families are going through during these difficult times.  Losing a loved one is never an easy thing to endure, but when it is your father or partner, life will never be the same.  But never lose hope; although George is no longer with us, he will always be remembered.  The memories that you have created together over the years will forever be with you; and we are certain that there are many.  You will find as time passes, that these remembrances will bring smiles and laughter back into your families’ saddened lives and will help you recover from his irreparable loss.  

George and Carol moved into the Ballantrae Golf & Country Club community in early 2004, at about the same time that we did, and have been friends and neighbours ever since.  We have known George to be a quiet, soft-spoken, and gentle man and devoted to his family and faith.  George’s loving and carrying demeanor, as well as his energetic laughter, will be missed by all who knew him, especially by his two sons, his five grandchildren, his two cousins and his friend and partner for the past several years, Cyndy. 

Mark, Geoffrey, Cathy, Anne and Cyndy and your respective families, please accept our heartfelt condolences for the loss of George, a father, grandfather, cousin, partner, and friend who will be forever remembered and loved.

Our sympathies to your family on the passing of George. We have many memories of serving on A.U.C. committees with him over the  years. He was always a kind and wise member and touched many people. Our prayers for you all at this sad time. 

I am shocked and deeply saddened to learn of George’s passing, a very kind and caring gentleman.  A longtime friendship since  the early 1980’s, when Jeff/Geoff and Mark were students at Sutton Public School led to very special and important friendship in February 2022  when my dear wife died.  
George’s guidance, caring, counsel and support have been key ingredients for my recovery.  In fact yesterday, not knowing, I messaged George to see when he might be available to meet up for lunch again.
My condolences and thoughts to George’s much loved family and his good friend Cyndy.  Rest in well earned peace my valued friend!!!


We are saddened to hear of George's passing. We had the privilege of having George and his family as our cottage neighbours for nearly 20 years.  George was truly a good person and memories of his friendship we will always treasure. George was a great neighbor but most of all, had become a good friend. We will miss him. Our heartfelt sympathy and condolences go out to his family and loved ones.
