

With broken hearts the Timoski family announce the passing of their mother Georgie. Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on May 10th, 2011 in her 86th year. Georgie, loving wife of the late Bill Timoski. Predeceased by her parents Florence and George. Loving mother of Judy and her husband David Shackell, Diane and her husband Daniel Mazur, and Michelle and her husband Frank D’Amico. Very proud Grandma of Jordan Bentley D’Amico and Alexander Royce D’Amico. Survived by her sister Millicent Cuming of New Brunswick. Predeceased by her sisters Olive, Dorothy, Sheila, Ona, and Hazel. Georgina started her career as a Registered Nurse and went on to create a Nurses Registry business. She then became a Real Estate Broker and with her husband formed a successful Real Estate Brokerage in North Toronto and York Region until she retired. She was a strong businesswoman, an entrepreneurial pioneer, and an extremely compassionate individual who will be deeply missed. Friends will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South (north east corner of Yonge St. & Industrial Pkwy. S.), Aurora, on Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11am. Interment Aurora Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
