Gerald Fisher

With great sadness we announce the passing of Gerald Henry Fisher at Southlake Regional Hospital following a 2 year battle with NET cancer which he fought with dignity and courage. He leaves behind Dianne, his devoted wife and best friend for 45 years, son Jay (Sandra), daughter Sara (Jason) and wonderful grandchildren Keira, Ryne, Lauren and Max - all of whom he loved dearly and was very proud. He was also brother to Helene Magder. He was a dedicated educator, much loved family man and will be fondly remembered by so many friends in Toronto Banjo Band, French class and Toronto Choristers. "Jerry always had time for everyone". We would like to thank both Princess Margaret Hospital and the Palliative Care unit of Southlake Regional Health Center for their expertise and exceptional care.

A private family service will be held and details of a "Celebration of Jerry's Life" will be determined at a later date.

For those who wish to honour Jerry's memory, donations to the Sick Kids Foundation or Southlake Regional Hospitals would be appreciated.
