Gerard went peacefully to his eternal home to be with his Lord on Wednesday May 14, 2014 at the age of 86 years, in the arms of his loving wife Helgard. Beloved father of Frank and his wife Hiroko and proud Opa of Nina. Gerard is pre-deceased by his precious daughter Regina. Dear brother of Otto, Yvo, Alex, Truusje Schatzky and the late Liesje Rutgers and the late Claartje Wagschal. Gerard will be sadly missed by his nieces Lydia (Kaido), Marina (Dennis) along with many other nieces, nephews and close relatives and friends both in Canada and Holland. Funeral Service held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 333 Davis Drive, Newmarket on Saturday May 17, 2014 at 11 am. Interment Aurora Cemetery.
