Passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital.
Beloved wife of the late Pieter Schoonhoven (1973). Cherished mother of Carol (Peter) Dekkema and Michael (Janice) Schoonhoven. Predeceased by her son, John Gerald (1958) and her daughter Cora (2014).
Loving Oma to Tim (Jennie) Dekkema, Ever, Freya and Neve, Dennis (Gabrielle) Dekkema, Brayden and Oscar and Makayla Schoonhoven.
We know that our Mom and Oma has gone to be with our Lord and Saviour in heaven, but we will miss her terribly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at the Thompson Funeral Home at 530 Industrial Parkway South in Aurora.
A memorial service and celebration of Helena's life will be held on Saturday, January 14 at noon, at the Bethel Canadian Reformed Church, 11251 Bayview Ave. in Richmond Hill.
