My condolences to the whole family, she was a real lady that I held in high esteem. She will be missed by everyone that knew her.

Grandma Gerrits was my absolute favorite person to spend my time with as a child. 
She was a great listener and an even better story teller!
I will miss her to pieces, as will my children who also had the pleasure of getting to spend time with her. 
To the most positive person I have ever met, always saw the bright side of any obsticle thrown in someone's way, was always smiling, or that devilish grin she had when she knew I was misbehaving.

Tante Riek was loved and respected by everyone in our family and will be greatly missed. She handled life with class.

The best thing about Grandma Gerrits was that she was always smiling. No matter what, even if she didn't have a clue to what you were saying. She brought light to the room, and happiness followed her wherever she went. She will be missed dearly, and she will forever hold a place in the hearts of each and every person who's life she touched. I know she'll Rest in Peace because she was a woman who lived in Peace. We had her for over 80 years, its Heavens turn to experience her light. Love you Grandma.You'll be forever in our hearts, until we meet again.

The ones we love will always live in our hearts, you blessed us with   unconditional love and kindness, you will never be forgotten, may God rest you in heaven until we meet again my dear sister Riek.
