Hilton Alexander Byrne

May 10, 1990 - October 30, 2010

Hilton was young, vibrant and so passionate about his sports. While out longboarding on October 11, 2010, Hilton suffered a tragic accident. After battling his injuries for 20 days, he passed away peacefully at St. Michaels's Hospital in Toronto on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Brother to Katherine Byrne and Georga Byrne, son of Penny Hounsome and Timothy and Kellie Byrne. Our family would like to thank everyone for all their love and support through this very difficult journey with Hilton. He will be so sadly missed by his family and friends. Hilton will forever be remembered by his longboarding family as the guy who was always ready to shred on a moments notice, always grinning from ear to ear on his longboard.

Please join us at 3 pm on Friday, November 5, 2010 at the United Church, 15186 Yonge St., Aurora, for a formal service. A celebration of Hilton's life will follow at 4pm at The Mansion, 400 Industrial Pkwy S., Aurora.

Contributions at the door of The Mansion to the Hilton Byrne Foundation, an organization being set up to supply helmets to new boarders and to assist with setting up permitted road time to ensure the safety of all riders, would be appreciated.
