Passed peacefully in her 95th year on January 18th, 2024, at Delmanor Retirement Home, having lived a remarkable and fulfilling life. Devoted wife to her late husband, George, and loving mother to Craig, Scott (Lisa), and her late daughter Jody. Cherished Nana to Alexandra (Connor), Hayley, Austin, Nicholas (Katie), Caitlin, Cameron (Sam), and Taylor. Loving great-grandmother to Luke, Henry, Tanner, Kendall, and Nathan. Dear sister to Shirley and Gary. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of sharing in her beautiful life.
A celebration of life in honour of Joan will be announced at a later date, providing an opportunity for family and friends to come together.
If desired, memorial donations in Joan’s name may be made to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation or Our Lady of Grace Parish (Aurora).
