Passed away peacefully on Thursday February 18, 2016 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Lola (nee Slaunwhite)for over 30 years. Loving father of Pam (Rob Hastings), Sharon (Dan Joyce), Jackie (Steve), and John (Barb). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Amanda, Alycia, Curtis, Dan, Brad, Christina, Payden, Chanelle, Brandon, Camden, Avery, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews in Nova Scotia, Ontario, and British Columbia. Predeceased by his brother Roy, and his sister Evelyn. Visitation will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora (905 727-5421) on Sunday February 21 from 2-4pm. Funeral Service in the chapel Monday February 22, 2016 at 11am. Interment to follow at Aurora Cemetery. In memorium donations made to the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated.
