Passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday August 21, 2015, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary. Loving father of Rick (Sophia), Gail (Gord) Bridges, and Jeff. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Erin, Matthew, Erikah, as well as his great grand daughter Ceilidh. Also survived by his twin brother Walter (Marg). He will be deeply missed by his dog Simon. Friends may call at the Thompson Funeral Home (530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora) on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 o’clock. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to either the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
