Passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Southlake Regional Health Centre at the age of 48. Beloved wife of John Daniel MacAskill. Devoted mother to Heather Ashley, Amanda Elizabeth and Danielle Katherine. Cherished Nana of Kathleena Elizabeth. Dearest daughter of Lillian Evelyn Morton. She leaves behind siblings Robert (Petra), David (the late Judy), Gordon and Ross (Teresa). There are many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well. Daughter-in-law of Annie MacAskill (the late Dan), sister-in-law of Donnie (Theresa), Heather, Bonnie (Fraser), Norma (Keith) and Blair all of Cape Breton, as well as many extended nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, 905-727-5421 on Friday, January 9 at 11am with visitation beginning at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation Stronach Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
