IN THE CARE OF
Thompson Funeral Home
August 29, 1956 - January 16, 2022
It is with very heavy hearts, and deep sadness we announce the passing of our dearest Lauren. Beloved wife of 43 years to Bruno; nurturing mother to Daniel (Meghan) and David; tender grandmother to her angel Finnley; devoted daughter to the late Fred and Betty; caring sister to her dear companion Lianne (Matthew); and a loving daughter in law to Marietta and the late Francesco. A sister in law, aunt, friend, and support system to so many.
Her calming spirit, infectious smile, and selflessness will be deeply missed by all. Lauren taught us to love unconditionally; to never forget to help others; and always show up with kindness and gratitude. Always putting others first, she leaves us far better than we could ever thank her for. Lauren fought hard and tirelessly these last 2 months, however unfortunately even the kindest of hearts cannot withstand the fate of time. Lauren’s spirit will be fondly remembered for her generosity and positive impact she had on so many, who loved her dearly.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre and St John’s Rehab hospital; In lieu of flowers we ask considering a donation to either hospital.
A small private in-family gathering will be held on Saturday January 22nd at 11:00am. A Livestream of the Funeral Service can be viewed at the following link https://funeraweb.tv/diffusions/44685
