I only knew  Les for a short time,having met him at our poker club at the Aurora Seniors Center.
Les and I realised early on that we had several things in common,especially a love of history.........and dogs.
Les,you were always an absolute gentle man and I will never forget our short time together.

Although I only knew Les for a short while, I was truly impressed by his gentle and kind spirit.  I'm grateful to have been his neighbour and extend my heartfelt condolences to his family and many friends.

Forty years ago he taught me how to drink scotch and good red wine.  Always a gentleman and a wonderful 'Dad' I will miss clipping newspaper articles to send and the insights received when he'd read them.  Kind to the end.  Already missing you Dad.

I have known Les for quite a few years now, he was my birding buddy and he taught me so much about birds, nature, and life itself. I will always cherish our walks through McKenzie Marsh and the time he spent teaching me about one of his true passions, birds. There is a gap in my heart which will never be filled, but I am truly grateful for having known him and he will always be missed. Sincerely,
