Lillian Florence Stephens

Passed on peacefully at Markhaven Nursing Home surrounded with love and in the company of her family on May 22. She leaves behind her loving children and their spouses Peter (Linda), Jeffrey, Sara (Kevin) and Lalitha (Bob) and her proud grandchildren Rebecca, Adrian, Patrick, Megan, Michael, Kathryn, Brittany and Braden and her great grandchildren Thomas and Henry. She joins in Heaven her husband Denzil and siblings Robert, Marjorie and Maurice. Lillian and Denzil brought their young family to Canada from India in 1967 with courage, conviction and hopes for a rewarding life in Canada. The sacrifices they made then, have been paid forward with their children and grandchildren . She was a very special person who accomplished much in her lifetime and thankfully can now rest eternally. Special thanks to the caring staff at Markhaven Home for Seniors and Dr. Currie. Visitation at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora will take place on May 25 from 10:00am to noon, followed immediately by service.
