To Mohammed, Melissa, Farida, and Sean,
Our families have known eachother since we were all children and I have many memories of Auntie Mala growing up. The one thing that stood out for me was her beautiful smile. For me, it always seemed to light up a room. Her smile was only second to her kind and gentle nature which was always there in how much she loved her kids. I remember when she got her first job as a personal support worker and how our two families celebrated her success. Little did I know at the time that it would be the beginning of a life long career dedicated to helping others. When I think of Auntie Mala, this is the legacy she leaves for me. A person with a kind heart, a warm smile, and a great cook! May she find peace as her soul moves on and may all of you (Uncle Momeen, Melissa, Farida, and Sean)find comfort in her memory in the days to come. Love you all very much and remember we are here for you as you remember her and grieve your loss.
