Mrs. Margaret Catherine MacGregor Hunter

Unexpectedly, on Friday November 6, 2015 at Amica Newmarket at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband William Coulson Hunter of 51 years. Loving mother of Bob (Luisa) and Joan McIvor (Hugh). Proud grandma of Ryan (Katharine), Jaime Duggan (Jim), Adam (Nicole) and Daniel (Joanna); and Scott (Sarah) and Jeremy (Amanda). Great-grandma of Jake Duggan. Will be missed by her siblings, Malcolm MacGregor (June), Robert MacGregor (Betty) and Helen Brown (the late Lawrence). She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who cared for her greatly. Margaret, a long time resident of Don Mills, ON, was a very caring woman who loved to spend time with her family and friends. Over the years hours were spent curling, gardening, travelling, playing golf and cards, puzzling and of course cheering on her beloved Toronto Blue Jays. Visitation will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South (at Yonge St.) on Tuesday November 10, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday November 11, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. For those who wish, donations may be made to Eva's Place (a Toronto youth shelter) or The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
