I am so dearly sorry for the loss. I have only known Marten for a short time but he knew how make a lasting impression with his laugh, his humour, and his love for his family and for this short time I am thankful for. I met Marten a short while ago, when he and Isobel moved into Kingsmere Retirement, there wasn't a day that would go by that the didn't stop at my desk to make me laugh and brighten my day. Marten has left a lasting memory with me and for this I will cherish. God has called a very special Angel home.

My sincere condolences to Isabel and the family. I have such fond memories of Marten and John working together on projects at Langfield...one that particularly stands out is Marten helping John mix and hand bomb cement to concrete the original barn floor....he was 81 at the time, such an amazing person. We couldn’t have wished for better neighbours!
