Mary Catherine MacDonald

Mary (Molly) Catherine MacDonald (nee Ryan) passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 9th, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Danial for 50 years, devoted mother of Joseph, Francis, Mary-Clare, Anne, Colette and Kamil. Predeceased by her sons Ian and John. She will be greatly missed by her children and grandchildren: Katie, William, Emily, Meghan, Mikayla, Ainsley, Delaney, Bridget, Pearson, Maura, Reese, Danial, Savannah, Ryan and great-grandson Blair.

Mary was a beloved sister to Anne, Joan, Bette, Johnny, Sally, Danny and Geri. Pre-deceased by siblings Marty, Neil, John Francis and Theresa Claire. A devout Catholic, loving mother and foster mom with the Catholic Children's Aid Society, Mary will be remembered by all who knew her for her kind spirit, caring nature and enduring strength.

Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home (530 Industrial Pkwy S, Aurora, ON L4G 6W8) on Tuesday, April 12th from 5pm- 8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on April 13th, 2022 at 11:00 am at Saint Dunstan Roman Catholic Church (3150 Danforth Avenue, Scarborough ON) by dear family friend Fr. Jeffrey Masterson. Interment to follow at St John Cemetery (250 Main Street North, Newmarket ON).
