Nancy Goddard Chertow

Nancy Kathryn Chertow passed away peacefully on January 20th at Chartwell Long Term Care Residence in Aurora. Nancy was so many wonderful things, but most of all, she never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She was intelligent, kind, goofy and always had an incredible sense of humor and a beautiful smile. She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Kim Chertow, her son and daughter, Aidan Chertow and Jessica Chertow, her sister Linda Goddard-Volny and her brother Jeff Goddard. Nancy will also be greatly missed by her father and mother-in-law, Mike and Doreen Chertow, all her sister and brother-in-laws, her many nieces and nephews and friends. She will forever have a place in the hearts in anyone who had the privilege of meeting and knowing her. Nancy was a graduate from the University of Guelph and had a long and illustrious career as a Human Resources Professional. Her greatest joy were her children, traveling, skiing with her friends and family, summers spent at friend's cottages, and overseeing her large flower garden. The Chertow family would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the staff at Chartwell Long Term Care Residence in Aurora for all the wonderful care and attention they provided Nancy. Visitation will be held on Saturday January 30, 2016 from 12 noon until time of the Memorial service which will be held in the chapel at 1:00 o’clock at the Thompson Funeral Home (530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora) In lieu of flowers please make charitable donations to the York Region Alzheimer's Society in Aurora on behalf of Nancy
