It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Paul Christoffersen. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Darlene Christoffersen, daughter Cheryl Christoffersen Laing and son-in law Mike and granddaughter Zoe.
Paul was a cherished resident of Newmarket. His family owned the ice cream/ delicatessen shop at Main and Water Street before the family moved back to Denmark.
Born on November 6, 1946, in Denmark to George Christoffersen and Erna Petersen. He came to Canada when he was 12-year-old. After High school he joined the Canadian Military. After the Military he joined the federal government where he stayed until he retired.
A devoted Husband, father and grandfather, Paul loved gardening and sports. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and humor.
