With great sadness we announce Ray’s passing at home after a courageous battle with ALS. Even during his illness, he never lost his sense of humour. Beloved husband for over 50 years of Marilyn. Loving father of Michelle (Barry Torraville), and Todd (Hanna Lee-Russell). Cherished grandfather of Dylan, Cara, and Allie. Lovingly remembered by his brother Ron (Linda). Ray will be remembered for his passion for music, fishing, hockey, and baseball. Visitation will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora (905 727-5421) on Sunday Sept. 25, 2011 from 2-4, and 6-8 pm. Funeral Service at Yorkminster Citadel, 1 Lord Seaton Drive. (Yonge St. and 401) on Monday Sept. 26 at 11 am. Interment Aurora Cemetery. Donations to ALS Society Ontario or Yorkminster Citadel Salvation Army would be appreciated.
