I was on Bob's team twice at York Curling Club. He had a vey quiet smart style as skip. One of the nicest men I've had the privilege to meet.

I did not know Bob very well, but did have the pleasure of working with him (and his daughter Susan) for a short while.  

My condolences and sympathies are extended to Bob's family during this time.

When I started my career at Buttcon Limited some 35 years ago or so, Bob Booth was an  intimidating figure. He always  knew the answers to the questions he’d ask during our “RECON” meetings to ensure you were on top of your game.  Always a poker face. As I matured and got to know him better I began to see a patient highly focussed and detail oriented person who I looked up to and developed so much respect for.  Bob was a strong influence in my career development and introduced me to curling through a number of staff events.  My days at Buttcon include many memories. Bob was a big part of it all and will remain in our hearts and memories.

My deepest condolences to Sandra and the family.  I had the pleasure to meet Bob when he joined SCWCanada (Schools for the Children of the World Canada). I admired his dedication and humble trustful leadership. Today many children in Honduras and Ecuador are enjoying his contributions and ideas. Rest in peace Bob, I had the fortune to meet you and learn many things from you❤️

There isn’t much I can say about Bob that hasn’t already been said, far more eloquently than I could put it.
I met Bob in April of 1969, and from that time had worked with, golfed with, curled with, partied with and we were friends.

Dear Sandra, Susan, Michael and Grandchildren, 
Bob you have moved on to a very special place , but you will never ever be forgotten. 
About fifty years ago, you and Sandra, coached T-ball and baseball for Vandorf. Our children played against you. Your gentle approach and sportsmanship inspired many,  including parents on both sides of the game. 
At about the same time, I hired you to be a Superintendent for M A Butt Construction. You did a fine job  supervising the Sterling Trust building in Newmarket. I wanted you to be involved in starting a new company in 1979. You were hired as Manager of Construction. You were admired by everyone you worked with , both clients and staff. 
You became a shareholder of Buttcon, and were very much a part of our success. 
As with anyone who has moved on , it is always sad. However, Sandra, Susan , Michael and Grandchildren, you have had the pleasure of knowing and loving a great person and mentor, who has helped you through your lives. Keep and treasure those memories. 
Bob I hope we meet again in that special place.

I had the pleasure of working with Bob starting in about 1978 right up until his retirement.
Bob heavily influenced my career and I will always remember Bob not only as a mentor but also as a dear friend.
There was one time on a trip where I became very ill, (in Mexico…..) Terri opened the hotel room door, there was Bob patiently waiting in the hallway to assist me to the airport, nothing said, that was Bob.
Bob was a very kind, gentle man who will always be remembered.

I worked with Bob on a number of large projects, and remember him well, such a quiet gentle person, easy to talk too and never flustered, no matter how much pressure I applied!! never short of a smile, nor an alternate method or creative approach to meet the clients crazy schedule or cost assumptions!! 
Bob made an impression on me. 
He was a nice man in a tough and unforgiving business. Rest in peace Bob
