

She was born September 26th, 1987, where she spent most of her life growing up in Aurora. She attended Dr GW Williams high school where she formed many long-lasting friendships.
Samina lived with a vibrant spirit and a heart that felt deeply. Though she faced challenges throughout her life, she carried within her a warmth and strength that touched those who truly knew her. Her laughter, her compassion, and her unmistakable presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Samina is survived by her loving parents Marlene and Gerrit Van Dyk. She leaves behind her loving partner Chris and beloved daughters Sierra and Maddison. She will be deeply missed by her older siblings Jason (Lisa), Sarah (Steve), Jami (Krista), and younger brother Johnathon. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews; Alexandra, Rebecca (Tyler), Brandon, Emma, Conner, Riley and great-nephews, great niece many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends who held a special place for her in their hearts.
A memorial service will be held at Thompson Funeral Home in the Tribute Hall, located at 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON, L4G 6W8. The service is scheduled for March 6, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
