Passed away peacefully at Bradford Valley Care Community, with her family by her side on Friday August 12, 2016, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Frank for 65 years. Loving mother of Stephen (Patti) and Joan (Stephen). Shirley will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Christine (Darren), Jennifer, Todd and Grant, as well as her great grandchildren Emma, Rylee and Parker. Also survived by her sister Phyllis Carroll of Plymouth, MA. A private family service and cremation will be held in Aurora,
An interment service will be held at St. James Cemetery, Pigeon Hill Quebec on a date to be set. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of York Region.
