Susumu (John) Saito passed away peacefully on December 22, 2021 on his 93rd birthday. He had an amazing full life. He was born in Port Alberni, BC. and lived in Shizuoka Japan in his youth. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served for 5 years as a private first class. He was dedicated to his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren telling stories of his amazing life.
Susumu leaves behind his beloved wife Michiyo of 61 years, his daughters Joanne (Wilson) and Shirley(John), son Thomas (Stephanie), his beloved grandchildren Sarah, Michael, Samuel, Andrew and Carly. He also leaves behind his sister Michiyo, brother Shige (Michiko) & Sumie (John). He will be sadly missed by all.
There will be a private family service.
