It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tommy Mills, who died in Newmarket Ontario on Saturday, March 7 at the age of 73. Tommy was born in Ottawa on July 31, 1952, and is predeceased by his parents, William and Helen Mills.
He is survived by his son Billy, his sister Marlene, his brother Gerry (Cil), his nephews Matthew (Michelle), Michael (Liz), and Ian, his great-niece Sydney, and his great-nephew Alexander.
Tommy worked his whole career for the TTC as a bus driver in Scarborough. He was passionate about sports in general, and our Toronto sports teams in particular. He enjoyed camping, and spending time with his family, and will be remembered fondly for his sense of humour and his big heart.
