Vasco Leonel Cabral

Peacefully passed on May 8, 2011 at Southlake Regional Health Centre with his family at his bedside. Beloved husband of Maria for 44 years. Cherished father of Paulo (Antonia) and Raquel (David Patterson). Loving grandfather of Sydney, Robert, Meghan, Liam, Kate, Stephanie and Laura.

Vasco was an extraordinary mentor and source of spiritual strength to his family and to everyone who knew him well. Through his example and displays of selfless love, he enriched the lives of so many while embracing his illness with unbelievable courage and faith. He will be sorely missed in ways words cannot describe. May God lovingly welcome him to His Kingdom of eternal life.

Friends are invited to his visitation which will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Pkwy. S. (northeast corner of Yonge St. and Industrial Pkwy. S.), Aurora, on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. A private family Funeral Mass will be held on May 11th.
