Passed away peacefully on Monday August 1, 2011 in her 96th year. Reunited in heaven with her loving husband Bill. Cherished by her dear children Donnetta Bowers, Bill (Jennifer) and Kevin (Eva). Survived by her brother Donald Whiteside and sister Esther Archer. Violet will be held in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Friends will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora (905-727-5421) on Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 9-10am. A funeral service will take place Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10am in the Chapel of the Thompson Funeral Home. Violet will be laid to rest at the Newton Robinson Cemetery.
