

(Winnifred) Fay Ferguson (nee Fry), 89, of Weston, passed away February 16, 2017 in Markham, Ontario.
A Celebration of Life for Fay will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, (530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora) on Saturday, March 4, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. At 3 p.m. the family will be sharing some thoughts and memories of Fay’s life.
Fay was born in Bowmanville to Ray and Winnie Fry on September 6, 1927. It was there that she met her husband Stew. They moved to Toronto and were married for 68 wonderful years. It was in Weston that they lovingly raised 5 children. She was a homemaker for most of her life but was proud of the fact that she started her career in administration at 60. She loved dancing, playing cards, travelling, bowling, painting, volunteering at the hospital, school, church and Meals on Wheels and spending time with the family.
Fay is preceded in death by her parents, sister Marie and brother Glen.
Fay is survived by her husband Stew; daughter Cathy (Tom) Moore; Jill (Bob) Henderson; Dale (Dennis) Ransome; Scott (CeCe) Ferguson and Dan (Lisa) Ferguson; grandchildren Tammy, Jon, Chris, Sterling, Angelo, Adam, David, Michelle, Robyn, Victoria, Brooke, Christian, Isabella, Scarlett; great-grandchildren Mason, Taryn, Alex, Joshua, Austin, Jayden, Callum, Connor, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, Addison, Harrison, Xavier, Cailea and Arlo.
