

Adeline Arlene Rizzo, 87, of Austin, Texas, passed away on the 3rd of January 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on the 19th of April 1925 in DeWitt, Arkansas. The daughter of the late Christian and Mata Luebke, she attended high school in DeValls Bluff, Arkansas and graduated in 1943.
She later went to New York City where she met her soon-to-be husband, Carl. In 1949, they were married in a courthouse chapel in NYC. Adeline was a devoted wife, wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to paint, garden and cook. She never had a harsh word and showed her gentle and loving spirit to all those she came in contact with. She was a strong Christian and very involved with her church. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 63 years, Carl Rizzo; her sister, Shirley Burnop; daughter, Diane Buck; son, Jim Rizzo; three grandchildren, Angela, Erin and Nickolas and one great-grandchild, Dillon. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Earl Edward and Chris Calvin Luebke.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from three o’clock in the afternoon until five o’clock in the evening, on Saturday, the 5th of January 2013 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, TX.
Funeral services will be conducted at three o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, the 6th of January 2013, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1500 West Anderson Lane, Austin, TX 78757. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks, Pflugerville, TX.
