Adelma Watson Buchele born April 5, 1917 in Syracuse, Kansas, died February 5, 2007, in Austin, Texas. Adelma passed peacefully in her sleep at home after a rich and varied life filled with love, travel, adventure, and a penchant for being the woman in charge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Buchele, M.D.; her parents, May and Sidney Watson; and her two sisters, Floy and Mary. She is survived by her four children, Michael Buchele, M.D., Barry Buchele, M.D. and wife, Sarah; Carolyn Malloch and husband, Bob, Craig Buchele, RPh and partner, Billy Kuykendall; and her grandchildren, Zachery Malloch, Jeremey Malloch and wife, Stacia, and Jessica Buchele. Special thanks to Diane Flood, RN of Hospice Austin and the caring team of Prestigious Home Care for helping Adelma leave this world with dignity and grace. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 10 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress.
