community where they lived. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother, a Girl Scout Leader, very
active in the Service League, and a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church. She was also
active in the local DAR chapter. Her support and passion for the performing arts was an
important part of her entire life. In fact, Adrienne fostered a love of music in all her children’s
lives.
After the death of her husband, Robert, in 2009, Adrienne moved to Querencia, a retirement
community in Austin, Texas, to be near family. During her time there she enjoyed the
community immensely and everything the community offered. She attended concerts,
speaking engagements, exercise classes, book clubs, happy hours, and served as a Board
member. She loved interacting with Querencia’s community of accomplished residents.
Adrienne was defined by a constant curiosity about people, nature, spirituality and the world.
She enjoyed learning about others’ lives and experiences as well as sharing her own. She was
devoted to her family and was extremely proud of her four children, six grandchildren, and six
great grandchildren. She was the matriarch of the family and the glue that kept the family
together. She loved traveling and exploring the West while spending time with family.
