Albert Lee Jones

He professed his faith in Christ and was baptized at an early age.

Albert had many professions in his long life to provide for his family. He retired from Bastrop ISD in 2004 after being with the district for 21 years.

Albert’s passions in life were his family, friends and fishing.

Albert is proceeded by his parents Albert and Odell , his son Toby, his sister Mittie Geter (Micki), his brother Arthur Jones (BaeBae), aunt Virelee Crayton, nephew Andre Geter, and nieces Audrey Jones and Pamela Jones-Shackles.

He is survived by his children: Albert Keith Jones (Judy), Carl Jones (Lakeshia) and Denise Jones Brown (Donny). His siblings: Shirley Seay, Patsy Ates (Mike), Cathy Wiggings (Lee), Judy Jones, Eugene Jones (Annie), Hubert Jones (Eunice), Wilbert Jones and James Jones. Grandchildren: Keisha Steward, Courtney Brown, Danisha Brown, Krystal Jones and Carl L Jones Jr., and four great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening, on Sunday, the 8th of March 2015, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78752.

Homegoing service will be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Monday, the 9th of March 2015, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1114 Northwestern Ave, Austin, Texas 78702.
