Albino Alba

Albino “Sonny” Ledesma Alba, age 72, of Austin, was born December 9, 1931, and passed away January 29, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Tijerina Alba and Felipa Ledesma Alba; brothers, Fred and Frank Alba; and sisters, Mary A. Cruz, Elida A. Delgado, Antonia A. Martinez and Loretta A. Leos. Survivors include his son, Carlos Alba; brothers, Anastacio Alba and Pete Alba and wife Theresa; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Charles Moritz, nurse, Kenneth James and all the staff at St. David’s ICU Unit and El Milagro Dialysis Center. A Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Visitation at the church will precede the service at 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2004, at El Buen Pastor Presbyterian Church (at the corner of Willow and Waller Sts.) with Reverend Salatiel Palomino Lopez, PH.D. officiating. Interment will follow at Hornsby Bend Cemetery, Austin, Texas. Serving as Pallbearers will be Frank Alba Sr., Ernest Alba Jr., Anastacio Cruz, Arthur Martinez, Roy Alba and Edward Delgado.
