Alice and Jimmie sue have been such great friends both to me and to my husband, David Orton.  To lose both David and Alice this year has been devastating, yet much gratitude for having them in my life.  Alice is  a generous and loving spirit.   Her beauty and grace were so appreciated!  My thoughts are with her family and friends.  We were all so lucky to have had her in our lives.

I am so sad to learn of your precious mom’s passing. the world is dimmer because she’s gone. . Her smile and joys were always a source of good things to share.  I know she and Jerry are smiling and sharing a glass of wine and thinking of the precious time they touched so many lives with kindness.

Graydon and Max, you had a wonderful mother. She had such a positive influence in my life that my life did a complete turnaround for the better. Such a smile she had. Such precious words she used to encourage me and many others. In fact, when we were in a Sunday School class together, the whole class recognized her as the "encourager" of the group. She was one in a million and I continue to feel shock that she is no longer with us. I can't imagine this world without Alice.

Alice was a Princess of kindness and beauty much  beloved by everyone whose path she crossed in the Barton Heights/ Zilker neighborhood. I loved being the homeowner of (one of ) her high school sweethearts  former home! She would almost swoon with Delight remembering him and that time in her life!  She is a very lovely Soul and is already deeply Missed. We love you Dearest Alice  and I am sending much love and light as you travel your souls path home

We were greatly saddened to hear about Mrs Parrish's passing.  Your mom was one of our favorite people.  She had a unique way of making everyone she interacted with feel special and seen.  She always made you feel loved and appreciated.  If your heart was hurting she extended a sincerely sympathetic ear, and you couldn't help but feel better after talking to her.    The world is a dimmer place without her in it,  and we are better and more caring people from having known her.

Graydon and family, I am so very sorry for the loss of your sweet mother, Alice. What a wonderful, kind spirit she was - and shared with everyone she met. My deepest sympathies are with you all at this time.

I am so sad to hear this news. Alice was my neighbor at the Nokonah for a short time and we kept in touch over the following years.  I was hoping to catch up with her this fall. I will miss her.  I send all my love and condolences to dear Graydon.

Alice was a delight, always smiling, sweet, gentle, friendly.  I loved seeing her at parties or hanging out with her on her porch. She is  definitely not a person I will easily forget .  That gentleness! The world will for sure be diminished by her absence

We loved sweet Alice.  So many wonderful memories of time spent with her and Graydon.  She loved a party and was always delightful.  We’ll miss her smile, her kindness, and her zest for life.

We will treasure the many wonderful memories  we have with Alice (and Graydon) ) and  will remember her with joy and love.  Her beautiful spirit, laugh and smile will live on. 
We were very lucky to known her.
