Alice Rheaume left this world on January 31, 2026. Her daughter was at her side. She was always running businesses or volunteering somewhere. She even flew her own plane and piloted her own yacht. Her devoted husband was always at her side. They worked together and played together. After he died, she became a master nationalist, where she spent a lot of time teaching children to fish. She was also an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was 88 when she passed on, leaving only her daughter to survive her, Dorothy Rheaume of Houston, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh E. Rheaume, and her stepson, Hugh Gary Rheaume.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Alice's memory to Shriners Children's, an organization where Alice spent time raising money and also her husband was a Shriner.
Graveside services will begin at 12:00pm on February 12, 2026 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park, 6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749.
