She was preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel Garcia, Sr.; daughters, Rita Garcia and Linda Aguirre.
Alvina is survived by daughters: Olga Bruening (husband Joe), Ruth Shaker (Ali); and her son, Gabriel Garcia, Jr. (wife Shawn); eight grandchildren; and eight-great-grandchildren; one sister; and one brother.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Ave, Austin, Texas.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 am on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel.
Interment will follow at Capital Parks Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
