She graduated from McNeil High School in 2004 and received her BA from University of Texas in 2007. After completing her Masters in Literature from Texas State University – San Marcos in 2013, she then taught English at Texas State University until her death in April, 2020.
Amanda was preceded in death by her Father, Mark T Meyer, of Canyon Lake, Texas, who died February 22, 2015. She is survived by her Mother, Susan Lee, of Camarillo, California.
A memorial service honoring Amanda's life to be held at a later date.
