Andrea Cornelia Cora Essington Cora Essington, of Austin, passed away August 12, 2005. She was born on October 23, 1912, in Sherman, Wisconsin, to parents who emigrated from Holland just seven months before her birth. In 1948 she married Elmer Ellsworth Essington, who preceded her in death in 1985. Her children Barbara Jean Scanlon and Shirley Ann Carver also preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Bosch of Dilworth, Minnesota, eleven grandchildren, many great grandchildren and even three great, great grandchildren. We wish to thank the incredibly loving staff at Heritage Duval Gardens, who not only cared for Cora in their professional capacities, but who truly cared for her in their hearts. It is not possible to list all the names of these special people, but each of them deserves our gratitude. Cora was so lucky to have called you friends. Interment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City, South Dakota. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a hospice organization of your choice.
