Andrew “BB” Castañon of Austin, Texas passed away peacefully in his sleep October 16th, 2026. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Olvera Castañon; his parents Luis, and Anita Castañon; his brothers Louis, David, and Franklin Castañon; and son-in-law Steven Horst. He is survived by his children Veronyca Castañon-Horst, Michael Castañon, Vivan Castañon-Herschap and her husband, Trey Herschap, and Valerie Castañón-Wilson. He leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Zachary and Micaela Castañon, and their children Javier, and Lucia; Andrew, Aidan, and Alison Castañon; Maddie Jo Wheeless, and her son Kam’ron; and Blake, and Dalton Wilson. Funeral arrangements are pending.
