Angeline Estrellita Bou Akgun

Angeline Estrellita Bou Akgun, “Bubbles” or “Aunt Bub” to all who knew her, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2015 at the age of 72. She was born in Brooklyn, New York to Juan de la Cruz Bou and Sarah Alice Wise on September 5, 1943. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Betty and Virginia, and brother Juan, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Denis Akgun; nieces, Sally McConnell and husband Rickey Franks and Lucia Cao-Spurlock and husband Jonathan Kyle Spurlock; great-niece, Isabela Cao-Spurlock; sisters, Nancy Bou and Zoe Ortiz and husband Pablo Ortiz; brothers, Manuel Bou and William Bou; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home followed by Funeral Services at 10:00 A.M. officiated by Deacon Jesse Casarez. A brief reception will be held afterward. Committal Services followed by Interment will commence at 3:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, 601 N. Pecan St., Moulton, Texas with Father Gabriel Maison officiating.

In accordance with Aunt Bub’s wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any animal shelter or charity of your choosing. Three of her favorites were:
