All of you, We’re so late in hearing about both your parents since we no longer take the paper. We want to share many times, especially in medical circles, with your parents...too many to count, of visits, dinners and parties. God bless your you all and may their graciousness spill over into you as you live your best life forward. We are grateful for the privilege of watching you grow up and pray God’s blessings on you. Deborah, Belinda & Grover, so many memories of your mother!  She was always so welcoming to us!  I remember great visits to Austin, beginning in the Spanish Oak Drive house, trips to the ranch, and visiting after Christmas when she would find New Year's Eve babysitting jobs for us.  Your mom and dad graciously introduced us to Winter Park, and Anita made sure Hernando's and visiting the downstairs neighbor were must-visits.  My ladies ski group all enjoyed our phone chats with Anita, telling our ski stories and Winter Park adventures.  Likely, Erik's life was impacted most by those trips to Colorado, which led to the University of Denver, to the Winter Park ski patrol, and then to a college friend who had grown up in the Napa Valley.  We've talked and reminisced about the subtle but real impact all of that had on his life, and how it also enriched our family's life.  Anita always admonished us to "stay sweet". My family have been friends of the Bynums for many years.
Not only was Dr. Bynum our family doctor, but my parents, Joy and Andy Alexander were church friends of their family for as long as I can remember. 

My parents went to St. Martin's Lutheran, where they frequently saw the Bynums. I attended O. Henry Middle School with Belinda, where she was a cheerleader.

We will all miss Mrs. Bynum
and all the Alexanders extend our heartfelt condolences to the Bynums.  May God bless and comfort all of you.


My condolences with all who loved Anita...which I think would have to be everyone who met her. She seemed to have a contagious smile and (mischievous?) twinkle in her eye, that was just so engaging. She was one of the many wonderful parents surrounding my age-group and nurturing us along at St. Martin's. Rest in peace, good and faithful servant.

My parents were close friends with Anita and Grover.  Dr. Bynum was their doctor and mine for awhile.    He inspired me to become an internal medicine physician as I appreciated his attentive care to his patients.   My parents worked with them to establish the columbarium at St. Martin's where my parents ashes are now interred.   Anita and Grover made the world a better place and we were lucky to have benefited from their presence.   Their memory is always a blessing.  

Anita and Grover were two of the most gracious people I have known.  They will be missed by so many people.

Anita was a dear friend of mine.  We always enjoyed seeing each other at church.  I've missed having her there these past couple of years.  our son, Henry was in the same confirmation class as her deceased son Thad.  Her husband was our doctor.  Now she is together with them in heaven.

I remember Anita was always happy and had a smile on her face.  She was a stalwart  St. Martin's member through the years and touched many lives, volunteering countless hours of her time to whatever the project she was working on.  God bless dear Anita.

Anita was a great lady, always gracious and warm. I loved Anita and Grover very much and was honored to be their pastor from 1995-2004. Rest eternal grant Anita, O Lord, and let Light perpetual shine upon her. Amen.
