

Anita was dearly loved by her three sons, Scott, Georgetown, TX, Steven (Chip), Del Valle, TX, and Sean, Santa Rosa Beach, FL, and her only grandson, Zachary Coppedge, Austin TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Dean Coppedge.
Anita attended school at Farmington High School and later worked at the libraries of several schools
her children attended as her family moved around the Midwest and to West Germany then on to Florida
and ending up in Austin, TX where her husband retired from the Air Force. She then worked at the
UT Co-Op for several years as the bookkeeper for the Textbooks division there before retiring herself.
In her free time, Anita enjoyed singing church hymns and other songs, reading books, and cooking wonderful meals and making delightful cookies and candy she was renowned for by friends and family.
She will be remembered for her love and care of her family, and for always having a kind heart and loving word to her friends and the people she worked with and met in living her life.
A visitation will take place at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749 on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 10 am with services to held at 11 am
with a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
