Anita Clare Marx

Anita Clare "Babe" Marx passed away on March 13, 2009 in Austin, Texas. She was born September 15, 1919 in Austin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Marx and her parents Judson and Beulah Cox. She is survived by her sister Nettie Cargill of Austin, brother and sister-in-law, Benny and Billie Cox of Cedar Park, and many beloved nieces and nephews and their families. Anita and her husband loved to go deep sea fishing and were avid hunters. Their joy was sharing their fresh garden vegetables with family and friends. Anita's beautiful smile, love of family, giving heart, and a deep faith in God were just some of the gifts she gave to us all. She was a member of Rosedale Baptist Church in Austin. She was a member of Fidelis Chapter No. 963, OES. of Austin. Visitation will be Sunday, March 15, 2009, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Weed Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Monday, March 16, 2009, 2:00 p.m. at Lytton Springs Cemetery, Lytton Springs, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rosedale Baptist Church, Austin, or a charity of your choice. The family of Anita Marx extends their thanks to the caring staff at the Retirement and Nursing Center in Austin. Their genuine concern and compassion will always be remembered.
