She is survived by William G. Kemp, her husband of 64 years. Other survivors include her son, David G. Kemp and his wife Nan; daughters, Karen A. Ruth and Roy Pryor, and Kay Lynne Standridge and her husband Mike; four grandchildren; her siblings, Jackie Carnes and Dr. J. Scottie Griffin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar, Austin, TX.
