

Anna Elizabeth Peterson Kleinman, 82, of Austin, TX passed away July 23, 2014 after an extended illness. She was born on August 19, 1931 in Broxton, GA to Manning W Peterson and Inez Kight Lotheridge who both preceded her in death, as well as her husband, Robert 'Bob' L. Kleinman. She is survived by four children: daughter, Gayle (Atkinson) & John Ball of Lexington, SC; son, Steve & Lola Atkinson, Broxton, GA; daughter, Deborah Kleinman & Bailey Franklin, Los Angeles, CA; and son David & Dana Kleinman, Cedar Park, TX. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Clay Collier & fiancé Heather Wilkerson of Broxton, GA; Pia & Tom Morris Selah, WA; Kristin Atkinson-Cook of Quitman, GA; Tiffany & Ryan Fletcher of Quitman, GA; and Cole Kleinman of Cedar Park, TX. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren: Matthew Collier, Walker Bennett, David, Jonathan & Abigail Morris; and Tyson & Maggie Cook.
After living in Georgia the first third of her life, Anna and her family moved to Dallas, TX in 1962, and following her husband's death in 2008, she moved to Austin, TX. Anna loved artwork and painted landscapes and lighthouses throughout her life. She was a talented and free-spirited woman!
Family and friends will remember Anna at 10:00 am on August 24, 2014 at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery, 2800 Hancock Drive, Austin, TX. Brunch will follow at Goodall's in the Hotel Ella, 1900 Rio Grande, Austin, TX.
